Common questions
I can't sign in
- If you used Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, make sure you're picking the same provider you originally signed up with.
- If you used email and password, tap Forgot Password? on the Login screen — we'll email you a reset link.
- Still stuck? Email us at the address above and include the email you're trying to sign in with.
I'm not getting push notifications
- Open your device's Settings → Notifications → Commuticate and confirm notifications are allowed.
- In the app, go to Profile → Notification Settings and check that availability and call alerts are enabled.
- Pull-to-refresh on the Available tab once after enabling — that re-registers your device with our server.
How do I find friends on Commuticate?
- Open the Friends tab and tap Find — you can search by name, by username, or share your invite code/QR with someone.
- Tap Find friends from contacts to check which of your phone's contacts already have a Commuticate account. We only check for matches; we don't store your address book.
How do I go available?
- Tap the Go button in the center of the tab bar.
- Pick how long you're free, who can see it (all friends or selected groups), and add an optional note.
- Friends in that audience can then call you straight from the app while you're free.
What is a commute schedule?
- On the Schedule tab you can save recurring windows — like a weekday morning commute.
- Each schedule can send you a reminder, or automatically broadcast that you're available.
- You can also enable driving detection, so the app offers to broadcast when it notices you're driving.
How do I delete my account?
From inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. The deletion completes within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing the address above. See the full data deletion policy for details.

Report a bug or suggest a feature
Email support@techefficientllc.com with "bug report" or "feature request" in the subject. Tell us what device you're on, what you expected, and what you saw instead. We read every one.
